Waffle House - Maryland Heights

Our service in the bar was great. The food was great as usual. Our server was over everything and she was very friendly. The food runner was great. He was personal and was just great at his work. Please give the message that it is great!

Bit of a wait but bf and I enjoyed watching the process of food being made. Food was delicious, never actually had a waffle from Waffle House until now! There were 3 guys, I think they needed 1 more to help with cleaning tables. 10 hr long shifts too? Yikes, way to wear people out, hope they get their breaks.

I haven't been to a waffle house for decades. In-laws visiting from out of town wanted to go to waffle House because they like to have their pecan pancakes. So I said why not. Restaurant was very busy service was fantastic and overcame the customer crush going on at the time. Food was very well prepared. I was more than pleasantly surprised with my experience at the waffle House. Again I can't emphasize how good their service was in a restaurant that was getting slammed hard for breakfast.

As I don't have this at home I was very excited to have breakfast this morning, the food was as I remembered. But the server spending her time complaining about her job to her coworkers the whole time was disappointing.

They don't change their gloves. They then sit in their apron with their gloves, get an order and go on to make the food without changing their gloves. Wouldn't recommend. I had to leave a star when it was? More concerned about their phones as actual customer service or food safety!? Smile for the camera Charles?. Store #1423.
