This was the first sports bar I was in on my trip to St. Louis. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Would check up on you multiple times and she was pretty much running around the whole place doing things like a champ. The night I went they had a live band that played mostly 80's music. The entertainment was nice. good food. View all feedback.
What 1alwaystraveling doesn't like about Jimmy's Place Sports Grill:
Well, it is actually a nice venue to watch a game, plenty of flatscreens and you never have a bad view of a screen. But the food is subpar, taste like frozen food simply reheated. Service was good overall and wait times acceptable. But from generic ketchup bottles barely full to somewhat clean tables, not a place to eat. As far as bars go, a couple of them on opposite ends of joint. Drinks were strong, and beers were... View all feedback.
Long and Detailed Review! We were there for Sunday lunch. First impression was, I really like the interior design, very comfortable and pleasant. Second was that it was pretty empty (that did remedy itself as the hour progressed) A little chili since they had a set of double doors to the outside open. Brrr Lots of TVs all around so everyone has a chance to see what they want. Furniture was comfortable, in good condition and seemed clean. I say seemed because everything comes in to doubt once you visit the bathroom. Toilet paper and paper towels thrown about everywhere and there was a huge dried sticky spill between 2 stalls obviously from a previous nights cocktail. The 3 toilets hadn't been cleaned in well over 4 days (I know this because it takes at least that long for the mold ring to develop at the water line). If a small bathroom that is for public use isn't cleaned then what does the private kitchen look like? I shudder. As for the food Husband had the Firestarter Burger and we both agreed that it was fantastic. Super great firestarter sauce on it. His house chips were cold and unflavorful. I had the Caesar Wrap and Fries. We both agreed that the fries were exceptional. The Wrap was really dry so I requested some additional dressing to put on it and that really helped, although hubby was done with his burger by the time I got it.We were charged .50 for the extra Caesar dressing that was required and the addon chicken for the wrap on the menu said $1.99 or $2.99 but I was charged $4.11 which is an odd price.Take note that they charge for credit card usage, so bring cash.Overall We will try a second trip and have the burger with fries and maybe give another item a try. But if that bathroom is still dirty or we get more receipt surprises, it will be our last try.
We sat down and enjoyed some food and drinks. As we were eating we were approached by some roided out (Jason) manager saying that we said something “racist” and kicked us out. Literally did not do ANYTHING and got kicked out for nothing. Definitely do not recommend….
We just got kicked out for nothing. The manager said we said a racial slur which we did not. So whatever Rachel thought we said she is wrong... I will never go back and do not recommend. We are lost to why we got kicked out 100 percent terrible place.. No. Wonder it only have like 3 tables in the whole on a Saturday night.
Terrible service for a Saturday although the waitress was very nice. I mean it took about 20 minutes just to get our check. I got a burger and it was burnt and well done when I asked for medium. Wings were very good. Very low beer selection and were out of the ones they had so not sure how that happens!
I had the pork steak on the buffet. Pork steak was way overcooked and dried. You have to remember if you have thin pork steaks you can't cook them as long.
