The parking situation is notably problematic, with limited spaces prompting guests to seek nearby lots. Portions have recently been criticized for shrinking, and slow service has been reported. Despite these issues, the overall vibe remains positive, with many eager to return for enjoyable meals and cocktails, especially when given the time to savor their dining experience.
Honestly, I would have rated this restaurant much higher if it weren't for the parking situation. It seems they take more reservations than they have parking spaces for. I had to park in a nearby lot in pouring rain. The food was delicious, but the service was slow. We were seated at a table in the bar area, where a large group had gathered, taking up multiple parking spots and overcrowding the small space.
The menu has a great variety of options to choose from and the prices are very affordable.
I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The wait staff was perfectly timed with attending to our likes in drink and food. Our meal was delicious, as always. The owners are beyond gracious to their customers. I love going to The Martinsville Tavern. It is about a 1 1/2 miles from my home. If we had sidewalks, I would walk there and back. Karol Scancarella
