Olive Garden Italian - Martinsburg

Coming back for sure to try the fried chicken. Staff was very nice.

We've had issues with the staff at the particular restaurant, but since our options are limited locally, we decided to try it again. Wewent for a late lunch on a weekday. We used to go pretty regularly but haven't gone much since the prices have gone up so much. But we go often enough to be familiar with the wait staff. We got a wait person we never had before, Anushka or Babushka, something like that. I had the soup and salad, my wife the eggplant parm and asked for angel hair pasta. The food came, and my soup was brought along with the salad, even though my wife's meal had not arrived. I had not specified for the soup to come with the meal, but I assumed that was a given when another person at the table ordered an entree. But I was never asked either. We were asked if we wanted shredded cheese on the salad, Yes. Two quick turns of the shredder, salad is on the table, and wait person disappears. We usually get a fair amount of cheese on our salad, but we were never asked How much cheese? So we ate our salad and the soup sat there and got cold. My wife's entree arrives, and after a few bites she realizes it is not angel hair. We ask the wait person when she shows up again if it's angel hair, No it isn't angel hair, I"ll get more. She never checked it I guess when picking up. We say No thanks, but how about another hot bowl of soup? Obviously an efficient wait person ads far as managing her time, but maybe too efficient. So I guess if/when we return, we'll make sure we sit in another section.

A very good place to eat!!! My husband and are doing a quick getaway and ended up in WV...I would never eat at Olive Garden in Md.... our waiter was excellent... my food was great(cant remember the name) however my husband had the for of Italy and it was dry and

What a wonderful meal at Olive Garden. My parents took me for lunch. We had salad, spinach dip,breadsticks and Mom had spaghetti, Dad had chicken parmesana, and I had cheeses ravioli. For dessert we shared a strawberry cream dessert. Everything was delicious and very good. The lunch serving was just enough. Madison was a good waitress. She checked on us multiple times.

Was seated an hour before the restaurant closed, served all of our food minus a forgotten soup. When our party of 4 was served we were brought 1 salad 4 breadsticks and 1 soup of which one was an unlimited soup and salad order. After another employee brought our food our server passed by and my Husband mentioned he didn’t receive his soup. After she brought his soup she didn’t come back for approx 30 mins. We had long been out of drinks, salad, breadsticks and soup by the time she returned. I let her know we needed refills on all and when she returned she said everything was packed up as the kitchen was closing and I could only have more salad and an order of breadsticks. Even the tea was unavailable. I asked if she thought she should have mentioned this beforehand and she responded with “What, that we close at 10?” I responded with no, the fact that the kitchen was closing and none of the food were were paying for would be available. Especially since I sat there with nothing to eat or drink for such a long time without even seeing her. Obviously having been packed up while she was M.I.A. She simply apologized that the food was packed up and then stood there looking at us. No offer for compensation of any kind was made until I requested it, I requested a dessert to go. She then brought out desserts (turned sideways in the bag) and told us to pay on the kiosk and walked away, never having asked if we needed boxes for the leftover food from our children’s orders. My Husband saw her and called out for boxes. He then used the kiosk to pay and it was out of paper so it couldn’t print the receipt. Nobody ever came to change it until we went to the front and called for assistance.I’m not sure why people take positions like this when they do not have enough care and consideration to be kind to their patrons. We had been nothing, but kind and respectful to the entire time and had not been to this location in over a year and were looking forward to a nice meal. I can definitely say that after tonight they will not receive our patronage again. My Husband said he saw the manager several times and he never came over to ask if we needed assistance. This is the worst, most disrespectful service I’ve ever experienced and I was saddened to have such an experience as we rarely go out to eat as a family. The food here is way too mediocre and the food too expensive to also be accompanied by such rude service and expect patrons to return.
