La Trattoria - Martinsburg

Not only is the food authentic and PHENOMENAL, the service is just as wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Carlos (the owner), Sebastian (his son), and Taylor (our server) definitely set the bar high! We will most definitely be recommending their restaurant before any other and will be returning more often.

This restaurant is the most amazing place at which I've ever dined. The service is amazing; in my experiences, truly perfect. The dinner rolls are amazingly delicious, the soup is unique and outstanding, and the sauce is pleasant almost comforting. The eggplant is some of the most flavorful I've ever had, and the veal is so consistently tender that it can always be cut with a fork alone. The flavor is perfect. As for the pizza, it's easily some of the best pizza I have ever had. Everything is perfect. Even the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. The prices may seem a bit high at first, but for the amount of food given, the quality of the food, and the excellent service, it is well worth it. If you're in the Martinsburg area, this is the place to eat.

My delivery order of Eggplant Parmisan was a complete success. The tomato sauce thoughtfully was in a separate container so I could decide for myself how much to use (and how much to reserve for a lunch Spaghetti the next day). The Eggplant had a good crust and a bed of Spaghetti. There was a nice salad and to my surprise 5 home-baked Biscuits. It was a meal for one that easily would have satisfied two. All in all, it encouraged future orders of other offerings. I get the feeling that there is a family member in the kitchen who insists on the quality of home cooked food.

This place is about happy customers and serving food that's good to taste and feels like home cooked meal from grandmoms recipe. Our waitress was Jayla. Not only is she the sweetest thing but she's very attentive and personable. Her soft voice makes you feel welcomed. The chef (who I believe is also the owner) came out asking customers how every thing was when he found a free minute. He even took some plates from a couple's table. This restaurant is a prime example of what a great restaurant should be like. My food was quick yet made with soul and from the heart. From the very beginning of my meal the warm bread and butter, my appetizer, and my entree, everything was perfect. I highly recommend you try eating at this Italian restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Very welcoming staff, affordable and the taste is superb.
