Historic Mcfarland House - Martinsburg

The Historic McFarland House is beautiful location to host your next event. It is an elegant venue that is down to earth at the same time. My sister in law Joi chose this location to host my brother's surprise 50th birthday and it was a perfect choice. There was plenty of room for people to mingle from the dining rooms, the buffet room, outside gardens with multiple grouped seating areas, flowers and statues, and the bar that reminded me gentleman's after dinner room. It has several sofas to sit and chat while enjoying a cocktail. The food was great we had hors d ouvers and a buffet dinner. Donna, the owner, is a super friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful host. The bartender and servers were friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Everyone was beyond helpful. We learned the history of the beautiful house and the art nouveau Mucas seasons prints adorning the wall above the staircase. Just gorgeous. I highly recommend The Historic McFarland House.

Oct Friday Night Date Night was amazing! Hands down one of the most amazing meals my husband and I have ever had. Perfection from A-Z. SO HAPPY CHEF IS BACK. The event was cozy, friendly and so enjoyable. I have never had such a fabulous steak that you could cut with a butter knife. BRAVO McFarland House and your wonderful, attentive staff. If we could give more s we certainly would.

Wonderful evening celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. As this was our wedding venue it holds a special place in our heart. Tonight’s dinner was spectacular and each course better than the last. Highly recommend for your next visit to Martinsburg.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food prepared by Chef Walden. In addition, the service was impeccable! We will definitely be back for another scrumptious brunch.
