This coffee shop in Martinez is exceptional. The owner and staff are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about their coffee selection, offering a variety of unique coffee beans to try. While the storefront is small and it may take some time to get your drink during busy periods, the quality of the coffee makes it well worth the wait.
1.5 rounded to 2 stars. We went today after seeing great reviews but were left dissatisfied. We asked about allergens nuts when we ordered an eggnog latte with oat milk and the guy working seemed completely confused about what could be an issue. He suggested oat milk would not be safe for an allergy and overall seemed very unsure. I would not !!! recommend this place to customers with severe allergies. He also seemed unsure of what teas were available and when we requested a peppermint tea he suggested he could do a black tea with a pump of peppermint ?. I ordered a maple latte with oat milk and it did not taste right at all. My drink tasted more like watery coffee with a splash of oat milk and a small pump of maple syrup. It doesn’t look like a latte either so I’m not really sure what drink I got.
Small. Quaint. Excellent beans. The go to spot for a japanese style iced coffee. Which is the hot coffee ground slightly different and brewed right on top of a cup of ice. They have tons of styles of beans and they roast everything in house. Their hot coffees are also very good. They occasionally have cold brews that they make from a drip tower but iced coffees tend to have more awesome flavors so the cold brew is more for gulping. This place has the best coffee in the bay. It doesnt have a huge building like states does but thats so it can pass the savings on to you .
