We stopped for lunch and glad we chose Les Terrasses. We had s wonderful server who travels to the US frequently and was very helpful to us. Since Martigues is famous for sardines we ordered two plates of them for the table. They were fun to eat fresh and grilled but are very boney. We also enjoyed the cold fish platter, mussels as well as a nice salad or two. Go early as it gets crowded in a hurry. View all feedback.
What Izan Venegas doesn't like about Restaurant Les Terrasses:
Im alone traveller. I really Liked to eat there. And they not let me beacuse im one person. And there was empty tablet. It should not be like that. Not everything is about money. I felt frustrated. Not good people. For sure. View all feedback.
Fresh seafood (with other options) with outdoor covered restaurants and magnificent evening views of the sunset sky. Good price for good portions. Good price wine. Would recommend sharing large seafood starters between two or three. Local traditional food to Martigues, bottarga on the...menu. Service was good that we hardly speak French and accentuated them and the owner was very friendly. Options for seafood, meat, minimal vegetarian options. A group of 4 were well fed after a day of walking around national parks, two starters, each one main and shared a pudding between 4. With a bottle of wine and a Cola €120 overall. Owners who spoke English gave recommendations in Provence to do things and eat places.
We enjoyed dinner, with nice view over the harbor. Very friendly staff served us good, traditional food.
We were lucky enough to take the last table for two as the sun dipped on the harbour. We had been disappointed with the food in general on our trip around Provence but this all changed at this wonderful restaurant. I chose sardines which were...served without bones, fanned around the plate and unbelievably delicious. My wife had a salmon pasta starter which was also sumptuously creamy and rich. We followed with a salad of crispy chevre toasts and a fish medley served with mouth-watering tapenade, anchovy relish and aioli. This was washed down with two pots of smooth house red. Far and away the best dining experience of our trip and it was delivered by our perfect waitress Fanny. Well done to everyone involved.
Not supportive, super expensive beer while no price in the menu. Ask the price before ordering .............................................
We visit this restaurant regularly and it never disappoints. My husband always has moules - they do several different sauces and all are good. As a vegetarian I have one of their salads and they're always happy to make changes to the ingredients for me so we now know the owner well! Occasionally when it's very busy you may have to wait a while for the food - it's a very popular place as it's so good.
