Second time here and we will be returning again soon. The service is EXCEPTIONAL. All of the staff are so incredibly friendly and hospitable, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and cared for. We brought our one year old and they all took care of her as well as us stopping to make faces at her or show her things. The food is very good and locally sourced well worth a trip with your spouse for a lovely country dining experience in a warm and friendly place filled with a collection of cozy beautiful rooms. The bar is fantastic and even the open to a dining area kitchen boasts a wow factor.
The drive was worth having brunch at Field Main. Love the atmosphere food. We will be back soon.
The service was great, our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fair at best, the presentation of the food was blah. For the prices of the food should have been better
My expectation were high and they did not disappoint. Our server Crystal was the best! Chef created a special halibut entree for me that was not even on menu! Of course the wine selected was fabulous
Field Main is the boutique farm fresh meal you are looking for when you go to rustic Virginia towns. It's got nice touches throughout the restaurant, meals that you'll love, and an even better wine/cocktail selection. Gotta get the corn breadpudding!
