The white asparagus dish... read more The most highly rated restaurant in all of Marseille. I feel like a rabbit. Almost all the dishes were raw, barely seasoned vegetables. The white asparagus dish contained only ONE asparagus spear, and not even the tip, just the fibrous base. The service was incredibly nonchalant. Maybe there's been a recent improvement in quality, as others have mentioned, but I really don't understand the hype, and I'm still hungry.

We tried so many flavour combinations using gorgeous fresh vegetables, herbs and fish. The chefs are truly talented and the front of house staff are lovely.

The menu is small an... read more We tried the whole lunch menu, three starters and two mains. Both the fish and vegetarian dishes were fresh, inventive, and full of flavor. The menu is small and changes daily, so there’s not a huge amount of choice, but everything we had was excellent. Sitting is a bit tight and the wine glass could definitely be bigger. It’s a small place, I’d recommend booking ahead.

Despite having the rugged outlook, Limmat's services and food were amazing with the most vibrant and lively atmosphere.
