Amazing ice cream selection, with a wide range of vegan options (sorbets) as well! There are also some unusual flavours I haven't really seen at other places. Everything we tried was great, so we ended up coming here every other day during our stay. One of the best ice creams I had, and definitely the best of the vegan options. Le Metropole is perfectly located next to the Old Port in Marseille and is the perfect place to stop for a snack or a treat when visiting the city. With a cool air-conditioned interior and lots of exterior seating to enjoy the weather and the view of the Old Port, it has a wide range of organic bio food and ice creams, as well as drinks to enjoy on site or to take away. The staff are so friendly and mostly multi-lingual which was very helpful. Would highly recommend Le Metropole to visitors to Marseille.
The people here are so, so nice and the ice cream is delicious! It reminds me of gelato, and they have unique flavours! Great location near the port and fabulous prices!

Great ice cream shop that offers naturally flavored options. We like how the flavors actually taste like the fruit. It's not artificially flavored like other shops. We stumbled on another location in Lyon and had their ice there as well.
