First of all: credit card is NOT accepted. We had "sunomono" with mixed fish, tuna nigiri, tamago nigiri, sushi platter, miso soup. The cost for two without drinks was a little under € and it was probably the worst spent money in our lives....The decor looked average and slightly even Japanese, so we didn't have too many alarm bells ringing when stepping in (although the name and logo of the place are suspicious to certain extent). First the waiter brought us hot towels, which seemed nice for one second. Then the reality hit us: we had stepped into a place with zero passion for food or quality. The hot towels smelled exactly like a toilet mop. A mixture of horrible cheap detergent and awful bacterial growth. Unimaginable. We were hungry and were still holding out desperate hopes of receiving some decent food. Two different kinds of fish we tried to order were not available and it was very difficult choosing anything sensible from the extremely suspicious menu. The mixed fish sunomono was a complete insult to any kind of cuisine let alone Japanese cuisine. The fish were big shapeless chunks of sashimi, definitely none of it very fresh, all in the verge of being old. There was a huge amount of vinegar sauce, so the dish was basically a vinegar soup with fish ceviche. Only very small amount of cucumber and an end of cucumber (the end part is quite inedible). Look at the picture included to see for yourself. As far away from elegance as possible. The wakame stems were bad too. The miso soup was cheap tasting and had minimal, small tofu bits. The best part of the meal, though. Nigiris did not show skill of any kind and as mentioned, the fish was not fresh or tasty. I have had dozens of different kinds of tamagoyaki and this was easily the worst ever. Just terrible, old mirin or some other very bad ingredient in it. All ingredients in the futomaki were bad too. Barely edible. The best parts of the meal after the miso soup were gari and wasabi. The restaurant's web page mentions "Michelin Restaurant" and "Guide Michelin". These are completely misleading. Kim-do happens to be listed in restaurant.michelin.fr Michelin Restaurants" all-around listing) but does NOT have any Michelin recommendation. We are so glad we didn't get food poisoning
