a small meal before leaving the train station in Marseille, the meal was served quickly and the salmon burger was a good discovery, accompanied by salad the whole stays hearty. good reception but the rest of the service is not quite well developed, we have been put on the table, to us to manage it, a soda announced in 33cl on the map served in 25cl, billed at the price of the 33cl, even after the notice to the waitre... What Wilson Mitchell doesn't like about Brasserie Le Printemps:
renovation work was more than necessary but it lasts (several months) with unbearable inconvenience. Given the level of service and the current material conditions, the establishment would do better to close the time to finish the work and then reopen with a renewed offer and displayable premises! there is the clientele for a dynamic and nice brewery as was spring until 2010 or 2011 before sinking into mediocrity and... Simple and very nice. Beer served with some tartines. .it is simple and user-friendly and convenient to escape the cohue of the holy train
It is clean, service is excellent and can perform miracles, which is useful in front of a station. The kitchen was good, with slightly more salty rates than in the city but we are piled up in front of the train station so there is no scandal.

On our way from Cannes to Barcelona we decided to have dinner in this restaurant. It was in 2 min walk from Gare SNCF de Marseilles Saint-Charles. The administrator was so nice when my order was misunderstood and brought with ham. They changed it with a smile on faces. Also, they were kind when my friend wanted Turkish food from the next restaurant and allowed to bring her food to my table and eat with me. My only negative comment about the WC. I was very old and small.
Le Printemps is across the street from the Gare St. Charles, the Marseilles train and bus station. (The restaurant has nothing to do with the Paris department store, by the way.)We got to the train station early without lunch, and looked around the station. It was a beautiful day, and the only place we could find to sit down and have lunch was a place downstairs, but the windowed area (probably open in warmer weather) was hot and oppressive. We spotted Le Printemps and crossed the street. Up a few steps there's an outside area, a balustrade, with tables at comfortable distances on the two sides of the corner building.Granted, it's on a busy street across from the station, but it was a good place to eat, and afterward, drink tea and coffee while we waited for the train. Our server was attentive and helpful, and my wife had the special, an entrecôte of beef, and I had the Risotto Gambas (large shrimp). Both were good portions, and cooked just right. (My belly wasn't feeling so well that morning, and the Risotto Gambas was a little blander than I normally would like, but a perfect selection for me that day.)We were the only obvious travelers (we had our bags with us). The clientèle appeared to be regulars, business and service people, most of whom shook hands with the server and bartender.TripAdvisor has a separate listing for "Hotel Restaurant Le Printemps" at the same address, and the ratings are pretty dismal. We had no experience with the hotel, and, in fact, had no idea there is (or was) a hotel associated with the restaurant. I'm rating 4/5 because the food was above-average (at least for our needs that day), and it was awfully convenient.
