La Taverne du Port - Marseillan

After the presentation tonight we will never go back to this restaurant. we were a party of 6 and we were regular visitors in the past. tonight, when the main arrived, there was only 5, 45 minutes later no explanation or excuse! my man sent...in and was aggressive!t there. was a lot of screaming through the staff, but still no excuse. when all the others had finished my fish, I arrived, but until then I had lost my appetit. please don't bother to go.

We have an apartment in marseillan but haven't been to le taverne for some time. Went for late lunch today and were disappointed. Gratinee oysters were delicious but out came stale bread (leftovers from earlier? and the wrong dish for my husband (so I ate...alone while his was cooked I had the option of my fish being kept warm but declined . Also my fish and potatoes were served in a small oval dish rather than a plate so that you had to be careful when eating so that the sauce didn't overflow. The new style stools and benches were not comfortable for my husband. I think they are trying to update the place but really the old traditional tables, chairs and plates were much better! We shan't be rushing back there soon.

We found this gem on our 2nd night and were immediately impressed with location and simple yet mouth watering menu. The staff were attentive and prompt. They found a table for 4 of us when they were busy and we didn’t have a reservation. The...€29 fixed prix menu was amazing and would highly recommend for quality, taste, and value. Great priced wines, wonderful views, freshly cooked food together with friends made this a mus come again place. And so we did, and I am happy to say the 2nd experience was just as wonderful as the first.

Sur le port idéale très bon produit charcuterie et fromage u et cave super très large choix vraiment à ne pas loupé pour mes amateurs de bon vin

Tres bin restaurant où les fruits de mer sont délicieux. L'accueil est chaleureux et tres sympatique
