I’m more than happy to give a new establishment a fair go, but, oh my goodness, our pizzas were up there with the worst we have eaten . I think this was probably due to the fact that both pizza’s fillings came out of a slushy bag! My husband arrived 40mins after a phone order, but our order still wasn’t ready so he had a chance to stand and watch the process in the kitchen. The pizza dough was laid out on the steel table and the different fillings (marinara and a mushroom with Gorgonzola pizza) came out as a slushy goo out of a piping bag onto the dough. And that’s exactly how it tasted highly salted goo. Just awful at $24 each.

A fabulous little eatery on the outskirts of Marsciano. At lunch time they serve a 3 course meal for a set price of 11 euros. The pasta and rice dishes are fabulous and the portions huge. Also a wide selection of Piadine etc. In the evening they serve delicious pizza as well. Excellent quality food, very reasonably priced and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

The pizza is tasty but the base is almost paper thin so not very filling . My main problem with Al Chiosco is the aditional cost of paying the coperto (cover charge), this ends up making a quick bite of pizza too expensive.
