Breakneck Tavern has experienced a decline in food quality and service recently. Customers have encountered issues such as undercooked food, excessive salt, and slow service. While the atmosphere and happy hour are still enjoyable, the overall dining experience has been disappointing for many. On the other hand, the sister restaurant, Kaufman Taverns, continues to impress with delicious food and excellent service. Despite some positive reviews, it seems that Breakneck Tavern may need to address its current management and kitchen practices to regain its former glory.

Local and always great!
The Sunday brunch was fantastic and well worth the visit. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning with friends.
My husband ordered the standard breakfast and said it was incredible. I had the crab Benedict, which was amazing. The potatoes that came with our meals were delicious and stayed hot until we finished. Our server was fantastic and attentive, managing to keep our drinks filled and checking in on us despite being busy. We’re excited to return.
Super nice atmosphere, excellent service, and food
The service at this restaurant was outstanding, and the food was amazing. However, I did encounter one issue: when I ordered a whiskey sour made with Jameson, I received three shots of what was meant to be Jameson. As an Irish person, I can confidently say that it definitely wasn't Jameson. I know my whiskey, and this error was quite disappointing to me.
