I would recommend skipping the airport food in Sydney and stopping here instead. The food is really delicious and memorable. They have a fantastic breakfast burger and their waffles are crispy and tasty. They also offer a variety of baked goods to take home, including homemade marmalade. The service is good and the coffee is high quality. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially vegetarians and vegans.

Sometimes great breakfast dishes can be heavy and overly filling, but this was really nice! The caramel shake was perfect, I couldn't even tell it was dairy-free. The lavender and lemon cake had a strong lavender flavor, much bolder than other lavender cakes I've tried. My friend tried the "ch'kn" dish made with the Lamyong brand mock meat and loved it. They said even though the portion looked small, it was very satisfying. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

The food is exceptionally yummy at breakfast and at lunch, the coffee is perfect always, the cakes blow my mind (and the portion sizes are generous) and the offerings of spice mixes, flavoured oils, candles and other fare you can buy there make for a great gift. The staff were fantastic, and the food was out of this world! I had the taco special, which was amazing, better then tacos i had in SoCal! My girlfriend had the Bae-Root Bowl, which was phenomenal. The fried chickpeas were crazy good and the beetroot hummus was perfect. Topped it all off with some amazing chocolate cake! And the coffee was great!!! Will definitely be back! The food is incredible (The... read more Ruby Lonesome is basically the only cafe I go to these days. The owners (Nicolette and Lana and staff are genuinely so damn lovely. The food is incredible (The Big Boy and hash browns are a must and the treats are always on point. If you’re seeking a regular cafe that always makes you feel welcome, is consistently delicious and cares about their community then Ruby Lonesome is the way to go! Thank you guys
