The general store not o... read more I was pleasantly surprised to find excellent coffee in Marree, a charming little town on the way to the Birdsville or Oodnadatta tracks. The general store not only offers a variety of items to stock up on, like beer, but also freshly baked goods that are sure to delight you, not to mention the great coffee. I was truly impressed.

While it could potentially be pricey, it is surprisingly affordable. I highly recommend trying their fresh bread and pastries - they were fantastic.

Donuts ju... read more We stopped here after completing the Birdsville Track for some coffee and morning tea. The coffee was fabulous (and I say that coming from Melbourne). Donuts just cooked were the best I've ever eaten - couldn't get much fresher. Wonderful fresh scrolls etc. Highly recommended.
