What User doesn't like about The Portside Inn:
While not awful, it certainly isn’t the best food you can get. I ordered the sandwich of there’s that is on Parmesan pizza crust, can’t remember the name. It seemed interesting but the meat seemed a lot like boring lunch meat. Overall it was on ok sandwich, not mesmerizing. My girlfriend ordered their fish fry. They had really good tartar sauce, nice and sweet. However the fish was extremely small, 2 times bigger tha... View all feedback.

This is a bracket in the Marquette area! My wife went back to school for many years and we finally returned to try the bread sticks and the garlic we have waited for 30 years. We came to a 45-minute wait in the early evening, but they have a nice outdoor maintenance area with servers to keep you happy while waiting. The staff is friendly and accomodating, no matter how busy. (Emily outside, Jello inside). The food is simple, but great, and the breadsticks are a MUST HAVE! They were probably better than they thought. Come into the atmosphere and don't forget to buy a round for the back staff! (Great option not available in many places! Very recommended!
A must to go! Your bread sticks are from this world with their cheese dip you also give you a good help! I also enjoyed their lazy drinks and pizza!
Only to describe is WOW!! We have tried the sweet potato and jerk chicken soup, the Clam Chowder soup, the burgers and the chicken parmesan. Let me tell you I live 7 hours from here and it was like a house cooked meal. The burgers were thick and juicy. The chicken parm was incredible and these soups were the best I ever had! They were palsy and had the perfect taste. Our waitress was super friendly and made us feel at home. It was cozy with perfect lighting and I highly recommend it if u ever in the Marquette area
We really enjoyed this casual place with our dog on the patio. It's super dog friendly and they made him a doggy burger that we fed him while we were eating. Yummy salads and nachos... Heavy on the cheeses! We also loved our **** Marys which are a specialty! Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
