The restaurant used to have good quality, but in the past few months, I have consistently received fewer rolls than I ordered on large orders. Additionally, when my group of ten ordered sushi deluxe, some of us were given shrimp and crab stick instead. It seems like the quality has declined, possibly due to a change in ownership. This was a take-out dinner, with a price range of $50 to $100 per person.
Based on a few recommendations, my family and I decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The service was poor and our meal felt rushed. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. In my opinion, most restaurants by the shore are only average at best. I would rate the food a 2, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1 as well.
A few years ago, this was our top favorite restaurant. The food was fresh, not drowned in sauces, and the vegetables were crisp and recognizable. However, the quality has declined since then. While the food is still better than many other Chinese restaurants, it has definitely slipped in recent years. The lunch combinations on the menu are still decent. Service is good. Meal type: Lunch dine-in.
I have dined at this restaurant many times, and it has consistently been very good! I used to always order the General Tso's chicken, but recently I've been enjoying the sushi because it's really delicious! I typically don't care for Philly rolls due to the excessive cream cheese, but they put just the right amount here. The crab rangoon, labeled as "angry" on the menu, is also fantastic - not spicy at all, which is perfect for me! The service is decent, with staff members being very friendly. They can be a bit abrupt on the phone sometimes, but it doesn't bother me. The interior has several tables and is adorned with charming decorations. I usually opt for takeout, but many people also choose to dine in.
I went to the restaurant with my daughter and granddaughter for lunch. We were all satisfied with our meal. I ordered the Szechuan Delight lunch special which consisted of pork, beef, and baby shrimp sauteed in a spicy Szechuan sauce. I also had an egg roll which was crispy and not greasy. My daughter had assorted sushi rolls and my granddaughter had chicken nuggets. The restaurant was quiet during lunchtime and we had a pleasant dining experience.
