On holiday and wanted an Authentic Turkish restaurant away from the normal Tourist hotshots. 2 adults and 3 children. We got a cab from our hotel from the centre of Marmaris. It took around 7 minutes drive and cost us 200TL £6.50). Should have been cheaper but too tired to haggle. On arrival, restaurant was busy but staff were attentive and greeted us and seated us very quickly. All other customers were local Turkish so definitely a locals hangout. Menu was big with a variety of options for Starters, Pide, Lamachun, Kebabs, Desserts and a kids menu. We ordered soups, Pides, and kebabs, and my kids had a burger meal and 2 had the Chicken baskets. Food arrived promptly and was all fresh and tasted great. Soup and Pide's were amazing. Liver kebab was a bit strong but Adana was decent. Kebabs came with chips, bread and salad. The Burger was excellent pattie was handmade and proper meaty) and the Chicken Basket Fries, Wings and Chicken strips) was very good. For Dessert we had a Kunefe and some Tahini, Honey and Walnut baked bread. All very good. Complimentary unlimited Turkish Tea was served throughout. Our Waiter, Ali was great. Restaurant was very clean and all food was fresh. We had many staff come up and ask us if we are OK and if we needed anything. Great service. Our total meal for the 5 of us cost just under 1500TL around £37). Would go again without a doubt. If you want authentic Turkish food, make sure you give this a try. Thank you Citroën Pide!!!
