I put a star because I can't put less but really shameful! Booking made online for the restaurant, I call the same morning everything is fine. Arrived on site surprise after 45 minutes drive, no restaurant finally opened and only two choices on the map. I went back without eating with my 45 minutes drive. Really shameful!
That professionals!!! from the boss Mr Bogenez , Marion , Clémence , and to all the rest of the staff we want to tell them Thanks for the wonderful evening we spent . their professionalism, their way to find a solution to all the problems of last minutes has equal only the flavors of the dishes made. And always with a smile despite the difficulties created by the covid We recommend without problem the eyes closed Serge and Martine Haddad
If this establishment has not done so, I render service to the public: THE RESTAURANT OF THE GRANGE TO ORMES IS FERME! NOT RESERVATION POSSIBLE. We had organized our marriage in the Domaine last year and we had already noticed the lack of communication and organisation for such an important event. In a year of preparation, we had to deal with three events and two cooks because of their resignations. On D-Day, no server came to welcome us as planned, but my husband had to walk to the garden of the wine of honour. Not enough chairs for the guests who had to stay standing for two hours at the wine of honour and when asked what was in the amuses-bouches (if any allergy history, the staff did not know how to answer us. The menu had not been respected (an entry was not served, the names on the tables for the placements had not been printed (the witness had to place the guests himself in emergency and the bottles that we had brought personally for the digestive were not served until the end (of 6 bottles, they gave us back 3 while the guests wanted more). Details that have not ruined our marriage but in a year of communication, meetings and emails, and especially stress with all the changes of officials, we thought the guidelines would be respected. To mark the blow for our cotton weddings, we had booked two months in advance at the restaurant, by phone. It took a good quarter of an hour before someone noticed us at the entrance (a woman in a golf outfit and informs us that there was a misunderstanding and that it was certainly a reservation made at the golf brewery next to it because the gastronomic restaurant had closed a few weeks before. Having given my phone number for the reservation, no one thought to warn me. No excuses. So we went back in search of a last minute restaurant on Metz one Sunday at noon. I will also not debate the fact that no staff member had masks. PITOYABLE.
