The food was cold, they used powdered eggs, and it was highly overpriced. I paid $15 for a meal that you could easily find at a dollar store.
Biscuits were light and fluffy. Enjoyed the country fried steak.Service was good and friendly
We decided to give this restaurant a try instead of returning to Greenbrier Grill, where we had already eaten. Initially, it was just my friends and me in the place, though a few locals arrived while we were dining. We opted for the breakfast buffet without inquiring about the price first. The spread included bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, mediocre eggs, and fries that lacked any crispness. It felt more like a complimentary continental breakfast you'd find at a hotel. The wait staff was friendly and checked in on us from time to time, which was nice. However, I was taken aback when I went to the counter and saw that my bill came to $16, and that was without a drink.
We had breakfast there on 11/3/2022. The sausage gravy biscuits were excellent. The restaurant is very clean. If I ever visit Marlinton again I will eat here.
I wish I could give ZERO stars. My family and I had an unbelievably awful experience. We ordered our food; 2 breakfast entree 's. They were out of biscuits, and the waitress 's comment, you came in a little too late , yet on their menu they claim to serve breakfast all day? So we end up getting an additional entree, and have to tell her we didn 't order the extra one AND most of the food came out cold. Cold over easy eggs, cold bacon, cold hash browns. We were met with rolled eyes and an attitude. She took the cold plate, and brought it back a minute later, clearly just thrown in the microwave. GROSS! She never bothered to care if we had what we needed. She rolled her eyes yet again when I asked nicely, a second time for another cup of coffee. Oh and we never did get the toast on either of our plates. This establishment should close down. If you can 't be nice to your customers, or even cook to order at a diner then you shouldn 't be open for business.
