Sunday Fried Chicken after church! Woohoo! Chicken was crispy tasty. Hubby had the 3 piece meal (breast, leg, thigh, mashed potatoes, country gravy, fries a roll and I had the 2 piece meal (thigh and wing, mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob a roll . Both meals were good. Chicken was crispy and moist. The thighs in both meals were a little greasy than our taste but the other pieces were great. I would have preferred a little more seasoning in the breading. Corn on the cob was juicy, no additional butter was needed and I got the last one available, so obviously an item in demand. Staff was friendly, and the inside was clean, including the ladies restroom .There is a small banquet hall in the back for large meeting parties (up to 50? and they also offer catering. Ice cream and cobbler are also available for dessert. I will stop by again when I am coming through town on business, plenty of room for parking, including large trucks on the side of the restaurant. They don't have any diet drink options, they don't wear hairnets around the food. I didn't see anyone with any gloves on either. The service was nice Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
