Wow! This place is amamazing! The setting couldn't be cuter. You drive up and have to wait for chickens to cross in front of you. The seating is all outdoors and they have throws to put in if you are cold. In the back is a deck with different types of tables. There you can sit and watch the peacock, chickens, sheep and goats. There's a wooden structure for goats to climb on. The food was divine. We shared onion rings... View all feedback.
What Shellene O doesn't like about Fresh Air Lounge:
I know it's marked as closed, but I don't see that anyone noted that's it's more of a change than a termination. It's now Hog's Breath Tavern, at The Farm at Carter Hill. I never got to go to Goats and Roses, and I haven't been to Hog's Breath yet (I plan to! I hear the menu changed quite a bit and there have been a lot of weekend events (follow them on Facebook . I was looking for this info and recently found it...... View all feedback.

I had the small play of Alvacado on French bread so good! Next time we'll try dessert!
What a flippin cute idea?! Ever sip a beer and pet goats? There is a bar and you can purchase drinks to take outside and wander the property with. You can watch chicken, goats and a beautiful peacock! You can poke around in a barn that everything is for sale (and they have some antiques as well as local food items. They have a bridge set up for the goats to wander across... The property is just really pretty. Great for an event! Make a reservation! We did walk in and we had to wait 40 minutes for a table (we were quoted 30 which wasn't bad. When we were seated it took 5 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. From waiting and watching there were only 2 waitresses working and the gentleman cleared tables, worked the hostess station and jumped behind the food window. They definitely were understaffed for the day! A group seated 5 minutes after us was immediately served their water??? Then my order came with chips and slaw. I got delivered just a sandwich. I have to say the waitresses (I dealt with both were not very friendly and were overwhelmed, service needs some work. We walked up to order ice cream (my daughter had been waiting very patiently for the bill to arrive as I finally had to approach them and the guy said he couldn't serve us as the ice cream stand was officially opening in 5 minutes. After our long wait for everything we no longer wanted to wait- we were headed out. It blew my mind he was turning away business at there was another party in front of us who had 5 people who wanted to order as well?! The Food- My Chicken pest sandwich (I substituted the tomato for grilled peppers was DELICIOUS!! The Cheeseburger had two types of cheese on it and the sweet potato fries were long and tasty! I cannot deny that I would love to try more food from their menu. This place has potential but needs a better customer service policy. Oh and don't forget- CASH ONLY!
Very intriguing place. The atmosphere and service cannot be beat. The night we were there we enjoyed listening to open microphone musicians, saw farm animals, drank at the bar, ate great food from the outdoor restaurant, walked by fire pits, browsed inside the country store at handmade soaps, and visited the ice cream stand all on the same premises. Lobster crostini were to die for.
This was my first visit. There on an early Sunday evening with friends. I see mostly 5 star reviews but I'm not quite there. It was definitely an interesting experience. My comment walking up was I feel like we are in Vermont! There is s lot going on here and right on Route 66 in Marlborough. It was crowded when we arrived at 5:00 but we only waited 20 minutes. While waiting you can get a beer or wine in the tavern, with limited options. Once you are seated if you need another drink you have to get up and get it. Not sure why? They can bring you water and soft drinks only. The food was very good but the service was slow. Nice, fresh options. They have small, medium and large plates, as well as burgers, sandwiches and salads. My friend and I shared a Teriyaki Chicken Salad and the Lobster Crostini so yummy! A lot of other choices so we all agreed we will be back to try other options. Had a cup of Ice Cream on the way out at the on site Icd cream stand. Very rich and tasty, but fairly small cup for $3.50. The only other thing to note is that this is a cash only establishment, but there is an ATM on the premises.
