We have been wanting to try Firefly for a while now, and we are glad we finally did! The authentic BBQ is delicious with a variety of sauces and interesting sides. The menu is extensive and we highly recommend trying the sweet potato powder pudding for dessert. The atmosphere is casual and the staff is attentive. Overall, Firefly is a fun place for a great meal!
Firefly's BBQ serves some of the best ribs we've ever had. Our children are not big meat eaters, but they are begging us to take them back to Firefly's. We travel all the way from Boston just to eat there, and my daughter even requested it for her birthday dinner. The staff is friendly, there are plenty of BBQ sauce options to choose from, and the meat is incredibly tender and delicious.
The food at this grill restaurant tastes fresh, but lacks flavor. Additionally, it was served hot.
The server were very friendly and efficient. a thing that was not good with me was the male manager who, in front of all who waited to sit, screamed a hired one. very unprofessional. eating was just okay. my hen was really fat and salted. my friend had ribs and he said they were delicious and he enjoyed his meal.
Food and service always excellent. Best fried clams in New England.
Firefly's BBQ offers a vibrant ambience with plenty of seating options and a diverse menu that caters to diners of all sizes. While some reviewers found their meals to be average, others raved about the authentic BBQ experience and delicious ribs. The friendly staff and extensive sauce collection were highly praised, and the sweet potato pecan pudding was a standout dish. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or looking for a family-friendly dining spot, Firefly's BBQ seems to have something for everyone. Outdoor seating and a variety of options make it a popular choice for those looking to enjoy a flavorful meal in a casual setting.

This restaurant has the best poutine I've ever had and their brisket is top-notch. Compared to Sweet Cheeks, this place is my number one choice.
Generous portions for the price with classic homemade sides.
The service at this restaurant was terrible. We didn't receive any drinks or appetizers, and the meal took 1 hour and 45 minutes. The manager showed no concern. This was our first and last time dining here.
I would give this place six stars if I could, they do not disappoint!!! The service is great and fast. I got a 3 meat combo (ribs, brisket and pulled pork) for around $35, me and my fiancé shared and still brought home a doggy bag. I completely forgot to snap a pic, yet thought about it the next day when heating up my lunch
I thought I was back in Florida with the taste and flavor of all the food. I went there for my birthday but I think I'm going back because it's worth driving from Boston.

The st.louis ribs are great!!! The jumbo wings were good as well and the sweet bacon was pretty unique. Highly recomend this place.
Came here to check out a good Dead cover band at Dante's at Firefly's and sample some southern grub. Was not disappointed.Advice: Try getting there on the earlier side, as the parking lot filled up pretty fast. Also, if you're going to see a band at Dante's, be aware people might be grooving out near your table.Anyway, on to said southern grub: Ordered the S.W.A.T. Blue salad, BBQ beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and collard greens. My guest had red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. We both were left feeling satisfied and reaaalllly full.Added bonus: Was seated right next to the soundboard, and it was interesting observing the sound guy in action tweaking the levels.Service was as reasonable as you get for staff waiting on customers during a loud performance. We were even offered $1 leftover cookies at the end of our meal which was a nice little treat. This place is the real deal. Plenty of variety of beer too of course. Just make reservations if you want to experience a relatively smooth evening.
The food, atmosphere, and staff are consistently outstanding every year.
Had the dinner for 4 excellent food, ribs, chicken, and pulled pork. The sweet potato with pecans and the mashed potatoes fantastic. The cornbread was old fashion home made tasting as well ?. Great job
Best corn bread I ever ate Wheelchair accessibility: ramp from parking

I dined with a coworker at this restaurant, which had received excellent reviews. The atmosphere was lively with a diverse crowd. There were plenty of seating options available. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to secure a table for two. The menu offered a variety of choices, including options for families seeking a picnic-style meal. We tried the large wings (5 pieces), which were delicious. For our main course, we ordered a BBQ chicken platter and fried chicken. Unfortunately, both dishes were mediocre and fell short of our expectations. The BBQ chicken was a bit dry and the roasted chicken leg was small and had too much breading. The sides we chose, sweet potatoes and roasted corn, were unique and enjoyable. The restaurant also featured a selection of signature sauces, most of which were on the sweeter side. There was ample parking available, making it easy to find a spot.
I had never heard of this restaurant until yesterday. I was invited to try it out and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the staff was extremely friendly and polite, the place was clean, and my friends were right - I really liked it. The sweet tea was especially good, which won me over completely. As a southern girl, good sweet tea is essential to me. I will definitely return to this restaurant and bring along friends who have never been before. The staff went above and beyond in their service, even replacing a small mistake with a regular portion immediately. Their kindness and willingness to help reminded me of a higher-end version of Chick-fil-A. I rated them 4 stars because there is always room for improvement, although I'm not sure what that would be for this restaurant. I highly recommend dining here!
We had a large group tonight after a day of apple picking. Our host, Gerry, was amazing in ensuring that drinks and food were served promptly. The service was great and the food was delicious. We practically tried everything on the menu. You can't go wrong with any dish, but the beef-rib special was particularly good. Our order included a mix of wings, with the spicy sweet Asian wings being my favorite, as well as burned ends, Chili Brisket Mac and cheese, St. Louis Baby Backs, cranked greens, corn bread, onion sticks, and more. The portions were all sizable.
Firefly is a great and fun place to gather with friends and family to celebrate every occasion. Perfect place to watch the games as well. The food is delicious and plentiful. Recently visited with 5 other people and all loved their food and our appetizers were really delicious!
We (5 adults) were one of the few occupied tables. Intentionally went early as we had a stroller w/ 2½-month old baby. Wanted to help new mom dad with a restaurant experience w/ baby in tow. Even though it wasn 't busy, Carly S was helpful, attentive, provided excellent service! First time for two of us; we will definitely return.

We have been wanting to try Firefly's for a while and we are so happy that we finally did! The BBQ was authentic and delicious, with a range of sauces and unique side dishes. Firefly's BBQ serves some of the most delicious ribs we have ever had. Even our children, who usually don't like meat, always want to go back to Firefly's. We travel all the way from downtown Boston just to eat there. In fact, my daughter asked to have her birthday lunch there. The staff is friendly, there are many BBQ sauce choices, and the meat falls off the bone.
The dishes at this restaurant were fresh but lacked flavor, especially for a barbecue place. Unfortunately, they were also served lukewarm.
The servers were extremely friendly and efficient. One issue I had was the male manager yelling at an employee in front of all of us waiting to be seated, which I found to be very unprofessional. The food was average; my chicken was overly greasy and salty. However, my friend ordered the ribs and said they were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
Went for Sunday brunch. There were a wide variety of options (from salads to desserts) and they were constantly refilling the food station. The food was really tasty. Loved the pulled pork, chicken wings (they offered two types, and I am referring to the non-fried chicken), corn bread, beignets, and the brownies! Great value for the brunch! And there is outdoor patio seating (but it was too warm to sit outside). If you are looking for a place for Sunday brunch, this is the place to go.
