Santorini Mediterranean Cuisine With A Greek Flavour

The atmosphere is very cozy. It's set in an old house. They have private areas for private rooms including the 2nd floor. Food is good. Authentic Greek food. However what i noticed from a private event i went to is that the same sauce is served on the meat, the fish and the chicken. I only noticed it, because the group of us ordered different items. So for this i would say no originality and same sides which was potatoes.

As a long time customer at Santorinis i find it completely shocking that anyone would write a negative review about this place such as the one posted earlier in July. After 20 years of coming here regularly I have received nothing but the best service, the best food and the prettiest atmosphere. This is literally one of the best restaurants in all of the GTA. Yes of course this is a family restaurant so there might be times where younger children are around but how can ANYONE expect an employee to ask guests to leave or hush their children. That is not the responsibility of the staff but rather the parents of said children. In reference to being placed in a smaller room than the main dining space- I have come many times when there are special events and functions and my party and I have sat in one of the smaller rooms. Both areas are beautiful and have lots of room to move around as well as space between guest tables. I have never felt neglected or given any reason to be upset with service or atmosphere in said spaces. I think that people nowadays have insane expectations anywhere they go and need to actually realize that their expectations are not normal. Especially the people who wrote the review posted earlier this month. How about you be more considerate to the families who are also trying to have a nice meal or the staff who are trying to appease all guests while serving each with the kindness and attention they all deserve. Santorinis aims to ensure all guests are well fed and leave with a smile. I will not only continue coming here for many years to come but continue to recommend this restaurant to family and friends!!!

Went for an enjoyable evening out with 2 other couples. We were sat in a small room with a large family birthday party. There were 2 young children that screamed and ran around the entire evening. We asked to be moved but was told there were no other tables. Why sit us in this room to start???? We were told they cannot say anything to the families about their children. Excuse me - our dinner was ruined and yes you can ask uncontrollable families to please leave with their children as other guests are complaining. We are not having a meal at McDonalds but spending a decent amount of money for a nice meal out. At the end of the evening not even a complimentary coffee was offered - not that we wanted to stay for coffee! It was obvious the family was known by the owners as they would come into the room to greet the table. Never Ever Will I Go Back!!!

Went to eat for dinner with my girlfriend and we were left speechless! The food is amazing and it felt like a home cooked meal. Everything is made in the restaurant and we were extremely happy with the portions and quality of the food. We couldn't finish the platters we ordered, and took them home to eat for the next day.All I can say is the food is amazing, you get what you pay for, owners are the most kind people, and staff are very welcoming.Definitely going back and will be telling all my friends!

My friends and I usually celebrate our birthdays at Santorini restaurant in Thornhill. The food has always been delicious and the choices are very good. Some of us order the souvlaki on a pita and last time I had the filet of sole with vegetables. This restaurant also has a few separate rooms for a dinner party.
