Phoenix Restaurant - Markham

The service is poor. Servers have bad attitude and no respect for customer. I came at 8:05 am, and they we're busy with preparing to start up. Waited for 5 minutes and no one care about me. I tried to get a free newspaper, and they asked me to stop doing that, and said I am not supposed to take anything myself, and I have to wait until they are free. Food is average, and price is on average higher than similar type of restaurants. I will never go there again. There are many restaurants that provide better food, better price and most importantly, better services.

I love Asian food and I’m happy to be surrounded with awesome selection of Asian cousins in Markham area. But this place gets my lowest point. Though my second time to try lunch at Phoenix and my first experience wasn’t good, thought to give it a try again and orfer take out lunch, as this place is very close to where I live, and it was a disaster. The fried noodle with fish was very oily and salty. The beef and green bean dish had big chunk of beef that was very hard to chew. I hate to throw out food but this one pushed me really hard

Our first time to this location and it seemed quieter than the woodbine location. Food is the same and as usual, they have one of the best HK milk teas around.

I come to this place for quick food, usually this place is loud, might be due to lot of customer, not a good place for coffee and relax type of lunch. but if you just want to has some chinese food this is fine.

We often frequent this restaurant because it is very conveniently located near the ETR407. The food is one of the best among HongKong style fast food restaurants but pricing is at a premium. As usually with Hong Kong style cafe restaurants, the choice is enormous and this restaurant never disappoints me. The food are served within minutes once you placed your order. Don't expect any good service from the servers as they are always very busy and they never smile. On a weekend, it may be difficult to find a spot for parking and also long line in waiting. They will give out a call number on a piece of paper and sometimes it may take more than 40 minutes to wait for a table. If you are in a hurry, don't go there on weekends.
