However, I still th... read more The way eggettes should be! This was my first time trying stuffed eggettes (purple yam) and it was a nice balance between savoury and sweet! However, I still think the original flavour is the best. The outside of the waffles have a slightly crispy texture while the inside is soft. They accept cash or e transfer which was convenient. HK Milk Tea was really refreshing and had a strong tea flavour too a perfect pairing!

And if you only buy one you’re buying double the price. This kind of fake promotion makes me not want to buy from them anymore ?‍

Instead of the traditiona... read more I've been here a few times recently, and I must say, the Gai Dan Jai (eggettes) have been consistently lacking the desired crispiness. Instead of the traditional texture that resembles Gai Dan Jai, it felt more like eating a pancake. However, I'm willing to give it one last try and request for them to be cooked with more crispiness. It seems that they might be prioritizing speed over perfecting the recipe. Hopefully, this time they can deliver the crispy and authentic Gai Dan Jai experience that I'm looking for.In my latest visit in May 2023, I'm glad to see that they have improved the crispiness. However, I was disappointed to discover that they have changed the ingredients. They now use a sugar syrup that leaves a significant aftertaste. While the improved crispiness is a positive change, the new sweetness detracts from the overall experience. I hope they reconsider this alteration and return to the previous ingredients that provided a more enjoyable taste.
