Bento Sushi - Markham

Came in for a quick bite and ordered a donburi bowl. Service from the staff was great friendly and helpful but really had an issues with the food. It's like a white washed version of Japanese food. The veggies was sautéed for 20 seconds even before the pan was hot so there's no flavour from the vegetables. The beef was some sort of mush beef and the only think I could taste is the teriyaki glaze which tasted like cane sugar and soy sauce. It's sad to see decent restaurant but the food sub par. If they improved the food thing it would be a okay place to grab fast food Japanese food.

I tried the Scorpion Stringer Roll at Bento and it was fantastic. The sushi quality is top-notch, and the service is warmly welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The quality of the ingredients are okay but theres too much rice on the sushi. The rice is also very mushy. If you look at the rice, theres a wet texture on them.
