I love it here. reeally cooled, not too expensive, and the atmosphere is just really nice

Being in lockdown it's now a strange time... they have good measures in place for takeaway only and the food and cake is the same as always

We had a lovely lunch and coffee. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was good to be able to sit outside in this historic place. The all day breakfast was particularly good value.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner on January 25, 2021. Although there was a sign on the door indicating a limited menu, there was still a good selection of food and drinks. The service was quick, and the food arrived hot. The soup of the day was flavorful, and the coleslaw served with the salad was some of the best we've had in a long time. The bowl of chips was generous and could almost be considered a meal on its own. We're looking forward to returning soon!

The coffee is delicious, as always. Since it was quite cold, we chose to sit in the designated dog-friendly area. I understand this is a recent addition, but I would suggest that they consider expanding this space, especially with summer approaching. Near our dog, there were four other dogs in the same area, and two of them became quite disruptive, affecting the other three. Unfortunately, this situation could result in some undesirable canine behavior that might disturb other customers.
