The food is good and the service is great. It was hot as hell is expected to be. Someone visiting the waitresses was chatting with them and had the fan turned directly on them. I finally asked if the fan could be shared, being that it was so hot. Also, there were flies....flies....and more flies. I pray I don't get a 3rd World disease from this place. I couldn't tolerate it, so I took my food to go. View all feedback.
The place is ok we had a family event here and the floors were very sticky.

Food was delicious with only 1 cook, service was exceptional with only 2 hostesses and they got all our orders correct in a timely matter. I thank you for your hospitality and everything you did to make our eating experience great. Can't wait to get Soul Food Sunday back because my church, North End M.B.Church, 463 N. 88th Street, E. We arrived at closing and was treated as we were the first customer of hour! The was delicious and we had to take mom a plate and she was pleased Thanks to our Sunday hangout for dinner and thanks to my auntie Sherry tellingmeaboutthisspot!
Beautiful place, and well manicured grounds. However, the outside terrace could use a coat of paint, but that doesn't take away from the overall impression or decision to return.
