After they relocated to Marion, I tried to visit as... read more When they were in Richwood, we ate there frequently for two reasons: the meals were homemade and affordable. After they relocated to Marion, I tried to visit as often as I could because of my partner's declining health. I moved to another state last December, but I make it a point to visit every three months, and it's always the first place I go. The food is delicious, the owners are very friendly to both customers and staff, and the waitstaff are the best I've encountered anywhere. Be sure not to leave without trying a slice of their homemade cake—it's truly the best I've ever had!

When I arrived to pick up my food, everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. I even received a wave and a greeting from the kitchen staff!

The on... read more This is one of the best places I’ve ever eaten! The owner is very nice too. My wife absolutely loves the homemade cake, but unfortunately, I’m on a diet. The only complaint I have is that they only serve lunch, and I wish they were open for dinner as well. But I suppose if people want to enjoy their food for more days, that’s a good thing! You must try it—definitely order the walleye or the chicken steak, or even the pasta. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Oh, and the vegetable soup is delicious too! Enjoy!

I... read more I thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf and cheesy potatoes—they were fantastic! For the service, I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $10-$20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. I highly recommend trying a slice of pie!
