We went with a party of 4. They were short staffed and overwhelmed. 1 server and 1 cook for the whole place. We know we would have to be patient and we did wait a little while for our food. Over all it was a good experience. Food wasn’t the best I’ve had but was good enough to come back. View all feedback.
What Liberty Belle doesn't like about La Casa De Rosa:
This was not a pleasant experience despite the kindness of the waitstaff. We did not eat very many bites and left it on the table. My husband's drink tasted strange, the rice was odd, and there was queso where there should have been substance. I don't know anyone who would like this. We were charged for a meal we should have been paid to attempt to consume. View all feedback.
Called ahead to see if there was a wait for a table. There wasn't on a Saturday at 6pm. Which should have been the first red flag.seated right away but there was an extremely long wait to get our food. Approx an hour+. They were out of everything, tomatoes, chips, the ranchero sauce on our dish, which they didn't tell us until after we ordered and received the meal. Food was not authentic. Very very bland. Kids chicken tenders were burnt. Waitress was nice. Just go a bit further down the street if you want a good place to eat:
Our first time there, food was very good, our waitress was really kind and attentive. Will definitely go back.

Cute little place. Clean. I can see it getting loud easily on a busy night.Mild salsa was pretty bland, spicy wasn't spicy but at least had flavor. Chips are great; thick, crunchy and fresh.I got the tampiquena, steak was tender and flavorful, rice left something to be desired, beans were good (hard to mess up refried beans). It came with an enchilada as well and I wasn't a huge fan of the mole, but the cheese was great. Guac was starting to brown and could have used some more lime. They did have a great drink list with multiple mixed drinks, margaritas, liquors, beer and wines.Overall there aren't many Mexican places in this area, it was good enough to go back.Side note: if you've never been to Marine City, know that you'll need to park in the street or down a few blocks because there is no parking lot. Everything is within a couple blocks though, just like any downtown.Parking: On the street.Dietary restrictions: There are GF options if you get corn tortillas.
