Since our opening on August 15, 1969, we have been dedicated to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value. Originally known as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers in Donelson, Tennessee, we have always aimed to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices.

I’ve believed this for two years now. I usually try to eat healthier, but with my wife out of town for a few days, it was my chance to indulge. It reminded me of the 70s—delicious fish at a great price. I ordered the three-piece fish meal with slaw and hush puppies. People had recommended the Marietta Fish Market, which is right down the street, but I tried it a few months ago and was really disappointed. I think Captain D's is better, hands down. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I had a wonderful lunch! Everything was freshly prepared and cooked perfectly—not greasy at all or sitting under a heat lamp. It felt almost like I was dining in a nice restaurant.
My husband really loves the food at this restaurant. He appreciates the friendly and polite staff, who provide quick service. He especially enjoys the fried fish, broccoli, and coleslaw. The dining area is spacious, which adds to the pleasant experience. The restaurant shows the age a little... but the staff able Canton Rd are as beautiful and accommodating as any beautiful restaurant you will visit.
