This place was amazing! We came to Marietta to celebrate our anniversary and were in the Lafayette. The restaurant is within walking distance. The staff was super friendly and our food was great! My husband had the black and blue steak and said it was one of the best steaks he ever had. I had the crabcakes and they were perfect! They also let us take the rest of our bottle of wine with us and they do not charge a cor... View all feedback.
What Suzanne McCarter doesn't like about Austyn's:
We made a reservation weeks ago. Got confirmation after confirmation. When we arrived in Marietta, we called to check on our reservation time was told they didn't have a reservation for us. He asked if we had reserved through Google when I said we had, he replied that sometimes the reservations don't get to them that way. They couldn't accommodate us at the time we wanted so we went elsewhere. Very poor business and... View all feedback.

Service was excellent and so was ambience. Food was quite tasty. I got the stir fry with potatoe cake. Yum! Probably one of the higher priced restaurants in Marietta.
I don't go to Austyn's as often as I like because it's a small place and you feel like everyone is on top of each other and you can't have any private conversations. The spinach artichoke dip was fantastic! I could have eaten the whole thing as my dinner. With us, were friends from Los Angeles and they said that there are great restaurants in LA but the food at Austyn's was very good.
I had the scallops with wasabi mashed potatoes, my wife had a medium filet with gouda mac and cheese. We both had dirty martinis to drink. Everything was perfect, even the presentation felt very upscale. My wife and I are VERY picky foodies, and we thought the food was incredibly delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and had an amazing flavor. My scallops were lightly fried, crunchy on the outside, delightfully soft on the inside. Wasabi mashed potatos are spicy and a refreshingly delightful twist on plain mashed potatos! Even the salad was made with a wonderful mix of various greens and delicious cherry tomatos. I had to think very hard to come up with something that could be improved: the raspberry vinagrette was only so-so. The house made ranch on my wife's salad was amazing. In fact, I probably ate half her food along with mine (I'm not even sorry). If I lived within an hour of this place, I'd be trying to eat there every night. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Absolute must go-to if you're in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Teriyaki Scallops with Wasabi Potatoes
