I've been to three different Plaza Bonita locations and am happy to report that each one is identical to the other in terms of quality. This is my second favorite Mexican restaurant, and that's not a slight on them, because there's a lot of solid competition in Arizona. I have taken a lot of friends and family to these restaurants and nobody is ever disappointed. View all feedback.

We used to frequent Plaza Bonita before the pandemic, but we were disappointed with the food—especially the nacho cheese, which was so watery it was almost useless. Eating there was just okay, and I can’t say I was particularly impressed. Their new offerings didn’t win me over either. This was my first time visit I found it pleasant the waitress was professional and friendly. The food was good the atmosphere was pleasant. So I would return we were visiting family. This said please allow me to encourage you to visit a private (no tagging) Free with no commercials unless you have a bug that is. It is JW.org (the official website) it promotes Bible principles and it is for all ages. I know you will find something beneficial for you and your loved ones and it has something for all ages.
The place had a cool vibe. Our server was sweet but she was too busy to give us good service. Took awhile to get our order in, our drinks were empty a long time, and I had to ask the bus lady for sour creme. She was just over sat and running around. The food was decent but the kitchen must have forgotten the chicken nuggets for my 2 year old since it came out way late and everything needed salt, pretty bland. All in all it was fine, we'll be back.
I had the Mexican shrimp as an appetizer and paired it with a Pacifico beer. It was an excellent combination! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Everything was delicious! The salad was bursting with flavor, and the house margarita was fantastic!
We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but even though it was late, we received excellent service and our food was served promptly. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Additionally, I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was; the floors, bathrooms, and even the stainless steel in the kitchen (which is visible from the dining area) were spotless. I’ll definitely be coming back!
