Oak Fork - Maricopa
Oak Fork
Description
In the bustling dining scene of Maricopa, one restaurant stands out with its varied menu that offers steak, seafood, and tapas-style dishes. While some patrons laud the exceptional service and flavorful dishes—like the prime rib and calamari—others express disappointment over rising prices and diminishing value with fewer complimentary sides. The ambience, marred by a view of the parking lot, doesn’t elevate the experience for all guests. Despite mixed reviews on food quality and presentation, the establishment remains a popular choice for a night out, especially when celebrated with attentive staff and notable dishes that leave a lasting impression.

Decided to try something different this time. However, my sister was very disappointed in the meatloaf. It seemed overcooked, dry and tasteless. She ordered the sauce on the side because she's not a fan of bbq, but I suppose if it was poured over the meatloaf you'd have something to taste! She loves a good meatloaf but would not order this one again! The creamed corn side is very good as was the baked potato and the chop salad. The prime rib fondue is excellent. And a good amount! We both have our favorites, so no problem returning for another meal! We still have a couple more to try!
The menu offers a variety of steaks and seafood all over priced for the quality, flavor and presentation. Paying a premium price doesn 't guarantee a premium experience. The food was good, the service was average and the view was the parking lot. It may be Maricopa 's only elevated restaurant, so the community has a place for a night out.
The prices went up. First, they no longer offer bread with your meal. Then they no longer offer salad with your meal. Then they raised prices and made it Ala carte. All of the servers looked like they just rolled out of bed. Their shirts were all wrinkled and this was when they first opened, not at the end of the evening. Disappointing. I used to really like to eat here.
In the past entree came with soup or salad not any more soup or salad extra around $10. Also bread used to come with a meal no more extra now. On top of that they raised prices. Food was ok but value is no longer there. Won't be going back
