Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen - Margate

I discovered this restaurant on Yelp and as a Greek, I was eager to try it out. Unfortunately, I've heard that it has closed down.

A wonderful find in Margate. If you want a great atmosphere, genuine Greek cuisine, and excellent service, then this is the spot for you. Perfect score of 10/10. Definitely worth the price. Don't miss out on the baklava cheesecake!

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Each time I visit, I try something new and have always been satisfied.

We absolutely adored it. We ordered the Mediterranean feast to go, which included chicken souvlaki, garlic shrimp, and lamb chops. Every aspect of the meal was exceptional. This restaurant serves top-notch Greek food.

Very nice atmosphere and the staff are attentive. Some of the best Greek food I've ever had, though not perfect. The avgolemono soup needed more lemon in it. It tasted just like plain chicken soup. The pulled lamb was dry. The rest were absolutely incredible, especially the dips sampler. Beware: food portions are probably twice what they should be, so order less than you would normally. The owners were very pleasant and on site. Could use some classics on the menu like frappe, vyssinatha and loukaniko. Their Greek beer selection is on point.
