Delicious food and nice ambiance. If you like burgers, these are easily the best in the area. I loved the gruyere cheese and caramelized onion burger and my husband loved his gorgonzola bacon burger (on the specials menu). Really terrific dirty martini too. Bring cash as they do charge extra for using a credit card. View all feedback.
What BenB doesn't like about Binnekill Tavern:
Visiting from nyc. The food was solid. Everything was good. Hood steak and fries, good salad, and hood mussels. The service was great and very accommodating. The tables outside had a cute overlook of a river. I’d say you won’t be disappointed by the food but it seemed a little pricey for what you get if I’m comparing to restaurants in nyc. Again the food was good, just a little overpriced. View all feedback.
Food and service was very good. Dishes are more comfort food in mind, warm and soothing, hearty and nice portions.
Has the potential to be a great restaurant, but lacks sufficient help and food is inconsistent from good to fair.
Always good food at a price you’d expect to pay; not cheap but we’ll worth the price. The specials are always really well prepared there’s a terrific chef. No dogs were inside during this visit thankfully. (When did this become ok? . That’s been a real turn off in the past. Our wait staff person was very friendly without being creepily familiar as we’d experienced there before. Reservations are a good thing even if it’s almost empty as you enter, the dining room fills up quickly.
My children and I were warmly welcomed as soon as we got in. Beautiful and relaxing view, delicious food and great service.
Everything was great. Best meal by far. Salad was exceptional.
