I was staying at the Quality Inn and really enjoyed the on-site Willow Grill. I had an excellent Filet steak and a good lamb dish on another occasion. I particularly liked the spacious feel combined with an excellent atmosphere and really good service. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Willow Grill:
This place was pretty average. I ordered the barramundi. It was a good cooked piece of barra but the rest of the dish was so so. Just mashed sweet potato and blanched beans, nothing special I couldn't have done myself. My partner ordered a burger and his was an average dish as well.Unfortunately we ordered a side of olives and received a cold little dish of mushy olives that had solidified olive oil/fat around them.... Dined two nights while staying at the Hotel. Lovely dining setting and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the food was average. I always expect the food I eat out to be better than I can cook at home which was not the case here. We had the buffalo wings for entree for $15, there were 6 tiny(smallest we have ever seen) half wings (drumstick of the wing) with blue cheese sauce which was the highlight. We also has the baked camembert which was supposed to be flavoured with garlic and rosemary but was very mild so the dish with the dry bread was vertually flavourless (also $15). I had the prawn linguini with creamy garlic sauce. The garlic was raw and the sauce thin and runny. The prawns weren't plump and firm but a bit mushy as were probably frozen. My husband had the hamburger which he said was nice but it was very small and did not have much filling and plastic cheese, it was slightly bigger than a slider. The next night we ordered off the asian menu (egg fried rice, chicken and black bean and szechuan beef). It was all extremely salty and not authentic flavours. Our accommodation package came with a $75 voucher which helped with our dissatisfaction.
Had breakfast on both mornings food was great and so was the service. There was free tea and coffee + 3 juices and water free with the meal.
Food was tasty but servings were small for price. Service was a little slow. Cocktails were mixed well. Great espresso martini
We stayed 3 nights at the Motel and had 3 breakfast meals. Nice choices and good food. Good service as well
