Nazaré Beach Front - Margao (Madgaon)

What a way to wrap up a 3 week Journey through India. After visiting 10 cities à 5 night stay at beleza by the beach was a dream come true. Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, very friendly and attentive staff. Beachfront hotel with most stunning sunsets. A perfect place to decompress from à very busy trèck accross India. Bang average food, found it very overrated . Tried 5 things and none of us liked anything. Was trying to serve a fusion cusine of sorts, but don’t think much of anything worked. 3 stars for the ambience, it’s a beautiful place for sure. But note that despite having ample parking space they might ask you to park outside which turns out to be an inconvenience while exiting as you have to back up a narrow road or make a 360 deg turn by backing up and front like 10 times. No idea why we were asked to park outside and when asked why, security was dismissive and rude. Staff serving and managing were courteous and friendly which is appreciable. There’s also a breeding ground for mosquitos nearby due to a stream of stagnant water flowing under their bridge which connects you to the beach, so make sure you have repellent.

Food was okay. We ordered the beef steak, Alfredo pasta and fried chicken. Fried chicken was not that great, steak was delicious and so was the pasta. This restaurant however is way overpriced. A bottle of water costs rs.95 and a soft drink is rs 145. Overall decent food, great ambience but way overpriced.
