Kadence - Orlando
Kadence
Description
Kadence offers an immersive dining experience that balances exquisite sushi with a warm atmosphere, earning acclaim for both its culinary artistry and attentive service. While many patrons rave about the exceptional omakase tasting menu and sake pairings that elevate the meal, some express disappointment in aspects of service consistency. The restaurant's prices reflect its quality, often averaging $50-$100 per person, which can feel steep. Overall, Kadence stands out in Orlando's dining scene for its fresh ingredients and inviting ambiance but may not fully meet the expectations set by its Michelin star status for some diners.

The food is decent (4 stars because I enjoy sashimi and similar dishes) but it is overpriced (minus 1 star), especially the hand rolls and Umeboshi Shiso Onigiri. The Chirashi Bowl is a bit too salty for my liking. The service is good for takeout orders. Overall, it is a bit pricey for dinner with an average cost of $50-$100 per person. I would rate the food quality at 4 stars.
This place is very crafted, and very highly regarded. The restaurant is not exactly decorated outside, with easy to find signage, and is very nondescript. When you approach, it will be all black and is next-door to ABC liquors. When you enter, it’s brightly decorated with Japanese style paintings all over the place, and the staff are quite friendly and attentive. Obviously everyone in Winterpark knows that this is one of the restaurants that got a Michelin star rating. It is for a good reason because they make excellent food. Anytime they offer Onigiri we get it, especially since only onigiri is seemingly very difficult to come by in the Orlando area. Their offerings are unique, and utilize fresh and delicious ingredients. We highly recommend this place. I had the best dining experience ever at this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5.
I had the pleasure of tasting some of the best sushi I've ever had here. The service was incredible and the drinks were delicious. Also the head chef was a super cool guy. My partner and I came for the omakase and honestly we're already planning on coming back for seconds some time in the future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
