When they refer to it as a "bar," keep in mind that it focuses on oysters. The available adult beverages are limited to beer and wine only. It operates on a self-service basis, but the prices are reasonable considering this. The food is consistently delicious year after year. The live music contributes to the island vibe. If you identify as LGBTQ, I advise against supporting this business. During our short visit, they made an effort to make us feel uncomfortable. The food was merely average, and both the owner and a female staff member openly communicated that we were unwelcome. View all feedback.
The staff was very good inside. This is a place where you go to the restaurant, order from the menu, order drinks then go outside and sit down. Wait until the order is announced and go back to pickup. Workers are hard to come. But the burgers were excellent and drinks ice cold. We're coming back!
The Bird has been an awesome place to go for the 25 years I have been going to Marco. I would put it on my must see list cold beer, good food. Can't wait to see the old Dodge convertible pickup restored sometime in the future.

We had to get our own menu, seat ourselves, get our own drink and food when it was ready. Got refills ourselves and paid at the bar. ZERO service therefore NO TIP The shrimp and fries were from a bag as in Costco. Don’t go there
Just left. No waiting staff. Blue cheese was mayo. I can’t believe it has so many 5 stars. Husband not too impressed.
