Dolce Mare - Marco Island

This was the highlight of our trip! The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The ambiance of the place is beautiful as well. We will definitely make it a tradition to stop here on every trip!

After visiting Italy several times and spending most of my life in NYC, I was surprised to find such incredible gelato in Florida. This is arguably the best gelato I've had anywhere in the state. I’m amazed this place isn’t featured on more popular lists. If you're in Southwest Florida, make sure you don’t miss it!

Lady behind the counter was very rude and acted as though she couldn’t be bothered. And for two little cups of ice cream and one cannoli it was $30. Crazy. We asked for a cannoli and she just stared at us blankly so I finally asked “…well do you have them?” And she said yes in a very annoyed tone. Then stared at us to the point where my wife got nervous and chose a random gelato flavor that she ended up not even eating because she thought it was gross. She certainly didn’t offer any flavor samples to us while staring at us. I’d recommend Sweet Annie’s instead… they have the best ice cream on the island!

Great deserts but even better staff! Such sweet ladies, noticed me looking at the cake and offered us a fresh carrot cake hot out of the oven for our birthday party. Great place to meet people from different places as well. Great experience

If you like Gelato this may be the place for you. If you are looking for fudge the way it is pictured in the menu pictures, it does not exist. The pictures may be old and maybe it is not available during the busiest time of the year all I know is it was not there when I wanted some. We went around the corner for some hard ice cream.
