With my husband we stayed 2 nights thanks to a Smartbox case and we were very well. The owner is a very courteous and helpful person. The room is simply furnished but tastefully. Great sleep quality because it is a farmhouse located in the middle of the countryside and tranquility reigns supreme. Great breakfast with jams and honey made by them, exquisite! We also dined there one of the two nights, eating excellent meats and equally excellent ravioli of pumpkin, obviously homemade, as well as the sbrisolona for dessert. In short... we had a great time, it was a great solution to visit in 2 days Mantua, which is 20 min away. Thanks again to Agriturismo La Rovere for making us feel at home Raffaella and Simone
We went to lunch on Sunday. I found all the delicious dishes from meat appetizers, mixed frittate, vegetables melon, bread, green tortelli and pumpkin, grilled meats of pork and chicken, potatoes, dessert and coffee. All accompanied by a good lambrusco. The added value of the room is the genuineness of food and courteous availability.
From a dirt road you'd expect to get to a nice farmhouse as announced... There you are instead a house on a floor and a half with a ghostly atmosphere, cleaned up yes, but with rooms, two, really at the limit of the presentability. The first thing that strikes is the bad smell that even comes from the water of the fountain; bathroom with rudimentary shower and the same toilet; TV set above from which derive three, four threads issued by an unlikely decoder that does not allow to see almost nothing, besides the danger of tripping between the wires. Breakfast just decorated served by a kind lady, owner who does everything... too much. Not to recommend, especially for other likely alternatives in a place you will certainly not remember.
Casolare in a quiet area, family run. It has only two rooms, and are little isolated. The service is good, but genuine.
