I went to Athena with my parents and grandparents and they were well pleased with their food. I'm a vegan so I can't judge the quality of the meat but they were impressed and I was happy with my meal as well - baked beans with sautéed red bell pepper and pitta bread. The restaurant is very cute and small, so you should always make sure to call before going there! View all feedback.
(because a person, 16.40 € marburg is one of the cities with the largest dense pub per head, and some even see it on 1 or 2 in Germany. in gastronomy they can experience this, as already mentioned elsewhere, among other things, on the first 100 meters of the ketzerbach very beautiful. Among other things, there are three Greek restaurants, of which I chose the athena for my lunch break. close to the other side of the road is the highly praised korfu, and few steps direction beginning the ketzerbach is located alex gyros house . the paid parking right in front of the door is paid with 0.80 euro for 30 minutes. it is worth visiting the search for a free parking space that, if they find one at all, then also a more longer distance. Even if isolated guests made it in front of the athena at the few tables comfortable, the temperatures were somewhat too fresh to eat cozy lunch. so the few steps went into the small and fine restaurant. four tables on the windows with two seats, a table with six and a table with a bank and about eight seats invite you to stay inside. the environment was good, and for the small dimensions of the dining room, the seating possibilities from the number were also exactly suitable more would have killed. I would like to express a praise to the young, sympathetic and extremely friendly men in the service. very attentive, friendly, flink and diligent he did his job. they felt right away! barely guests had left the restaurant so that he already made order and washed the tables wet. overall, the gas room also made an extremely clean impression. with a view of driving in the ketzerbach I studied the appealing menu and decided to gigantes as an appetizer and a middle grill plate as a main dish too gigantes. a bitter lemon. the prices appear to me in comparison to other very moderately operated and according to my opinion for the size of the partly also with a good value for money. for a bitter lemon they have already paid 50 cent more (2.50 instead of here 2 euro. the gigantes came quickly and carefully to mention that my deck was extended long before a spoon. I was a little disappointed by the presentation of the gigantes. so with petersilie was apparently provided with a hauch dry pessil. but the taste didn't stop it. they tasted as hoped good, and for this price was portioning, supplementing and compilation completely in order. here they can not expect an additional brot and cheese, and so it is also in the menu. I was happy. I had chosen the athena plate as a lead. after card, all teller are served with two supplements of three possible, and so I ordered the third supplement for € 1.20 I wanted to try too little. So I put my Athena plate on the table with pommes, zaziki and herbalate. I had imagined the crimped a little different, and I will do the next time without it. Not because he didn't taste, but I had only imagined herbalate, and here it was from a lot of something. tomate, gurke, mais, kraut, red beet praying on an salad leaf. and I am not a fan of red bee. the pommes were ok, but they were beaten a little under the flesh. the zaziki was great, and the main thing the meat was also beautiful with grill aromas. the souvlaki can spit a little small, but tasteful as well as bifteki and gyros well made and, as I said, the price was remarkably good. a offered ouzo on 's house, if I understood that correctly, I had to go out because the desire to drive, and so there was only a short visit in the washing plant, where I also met the only mannko of my visit. the houses on the right side of the ketzerbach are quite narrow, and the lack of space also affects the sanitary facilities. here the place was so close that I would like to say that some (nearly few might not even find space to go, would not even be able to turn around. but it was clean! and the manko? no more paper in towel dispenser and also no other possibility to dry the hands (except the toilet paper. Conclusion: I would also like to visit this Greek restaurant again! the eaten as it is in the menu: gigantes riesenbohnen gebacken mit tomaten, petersilie und olivenöl 3,70 € athenateller gyros, souvlaki and bifteki 9,50 € zaziki 1,20 € bitter lemon 0,2 l 2,00 €

Usually, I try to stay away from Greek food in Germany, but Athena exceeded my expectations. We had chicken Soup (plain but well seasoned), a large Greek Salad and schnitzel with fries. Everything was fresh and plentiful, perhaps seasoned too much with some dried basil or terragon. The food was served fast and we had a free ouzo. Nothing exceptional, but good value for Money and nice atmosphere.
Filling but not visually pleasing food, at an economical price. For a better experience, eat at the other Greek place across the street.
