We booked a 40% off food... read more We wanted to have a special evening out in the Marbella old town area, unfortunately the Tempura restaurant was a little disappointing. We booked a 40% off food deal through fork for 4 , we were five , the web site would only allow to book for 4/8/12? We left a message in the booking stating there would be one extra child. When the bill was presented they did not deduct for the 5th persons meal (child), they refused to do this which I thought was poor service in consideration of the offer. They then told me they only do the offer at that time of evening to make the restaurant look busy which didn’t make us feel important customers, the attitude of waiter reflected this. We never were asked after initially ordering a round of drinks did we want any more whilst eating, my wife ordered a white wine during the dessert. It was the only time on are holiday that we would eat out at a restaurant if this standing , sadly it was not what we had hoped. I enjoyed my meal all the same and thought it was well presented. The three children’s meals were basic with no effort in presentation compared to the adult meals. My wife ordered Turbot which she unfortunately felt was the worst main meal she had ever had , very disappointed though I had prompted her to order it so maybe my fault but it is normally very good. The desserts were very good and recommended.
