The meals were pur... read more Our daughter took us to D. O. Mar for a treat. The setting is beautiful and we were excited to be seated at our table expecting great things. The meals were purchased through Groupon so perhaps this affected the way we were served. The...service was a little haphazard and the food unfortunately was very underwhelming. The starters were unbalanced with far too much Russian salad with very small pieces of fish which was quite hard. The main course of lamb was served completely on its own with no sauce, no vegetables and the main course of fish was served with just tiny pieces of fried potato. The whole meal was not executed very well and the service was sloppy. Our hobby is visiting Michelin starred restaurants and although the culinary director Oscar Velasco is described as a Michelin starred chef this ranks as the worst we have visited. Our poor daughter was extremely upset with the whole evening.

Too bad no other customers .. will surely go back there .. Excellent but unknown ..

The service was exquisite as well as the wine selection by the sommelier .. You can follow these...guys blindly : they will suggest you the best they have for a price you can not beat .. Worth stars ..try this and be blown off your chair..
