We used to enjoy coming here so much that we intentionally booked a place nearby by for our holiday. One issue is that food has significantly decreased in quality but the staff are by far the biggest problem. If you enjoy being ignored for hours on end, you will absolutely love it, otherwise avoid at all costs. On one night, we arrived. Someone gave us a single menu to share among the four of us. We were then ignored for about 15 minutes until someone takes out drinks order. When the drinks finally arrived we are ready to order food but the server immediately runs away before we can order. We then wait over 30 minutes as the staff try their best to avoid our table. Also, the restaurant was not busy. At one point we stopped a server and asked if we could order some food. The server just said you have to ask the other waiter . Of course, the person we asked didn 't alert the other waiter. Eventually we had to walk across the bar to grab the attention of our waiter. To make matters worse they also got one of our orders wrong. We corrected them when they deliver two wrong dishes to our table, then the server came back and just said ok but this one is right , and dumped a plate on the table which we hadn 't ordered and then walked off. Trying to get more drinks or the bill was equally frustrating, if not impossible. Not once did anyone ask if we wanted anything else. We foolishly came a second time and the service was equally dreadful, if not even worse. I get the impression the staff are trying to sabotage the place. There is no way to explain such useless service on two separate occasions otherwise.

The food r... read more The place certainly has a following. The terrace was full at 9 p.m., and most of the tables inside were, too. Sort of hard to understand why, though. The food really isn’t terribly good. But there’s lots of it, and drinks are plentiful and the staff are enthusiastic. I guess I just explained why, didn’t I?
